For travel to & from the airports. They are readily available at campus for all the major breaks – Trimester, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. When arriving at LaGuardia or JFK make sure you take a Nassau County cab – not a New York City Yellow Cab. This avoids a significant meter rate increase when the cab enters Nassau County. You can call ahead to arrange for the taxi to be at the airport – listed are two companies from the Yellow Pages
